The Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM) of the University of Chile, announces a competition to provide an academic position as a contract, full time (44 hours) ordinary career in the Department of Geophysics. This position is in the area of Applied Geophysics.
We are looking specialists in Prospecting of subsoil natural resources (water, energy and/or mining), characterization of the lithosphere at different scales in the Chilean subduction zone (on land and under sea).
Potential methods (gravity and magnetism), seismic and electromagnetic.
Theoretical and experimental methods.
